Vinta - Fountain Pen Ink - Standard - Malayan Apple (Makopa 1938)

Vinta inks are obsessively designed and meticulously mixed in the Philippines using high quality ingredients. The Vinta inks come in a 30mL amber glass bottle and are suitable for fountain pen or calligraphy use. 

Each colour has a story to tell, related to the local culture or history. The Malayan apple or Makopa is a bell-shaped fruit that grows in the Philippines known for its crisp pulp and mild flavour. Many Filipinos grow this in their backyard or in local neighbourhoods. It is said the paler and darker it is, the sweeter it becomes. Its scientific name was first published in 1938.

As part of the Vinta Initiative, a portion of each ink bottle sale is donated to the Teach for the Philippines Inc., which helps Filipino children access quality education.
