Brause nibs can be found in the toolbox of many calligraphers, lettering artists, penmen and illustrators. They are famous for offering a subtle balance between relative elasticity for easier writing, and the resistance necessary for clear strokes.
The Steno #361 is also called “Blue Pumpkin” because of its blue colouring and shape. It is a short hand nib that is highly elastic with a very fine point and high ink capacity, creating a thin line with perfect ink flow.
Brause Nibs are manufactured in Germany from cold rolled steel and pressed with tools specific to each model and nib size.
Compatible Brause nib holders can be found here.
