The P.W. Akkerman Dutch Masters - Vermeer's Kobaltblauw - fountain pen ink is part of a limited edition collection inspired by the Dutch Masters. There are twelve colours in the collection, with each one taking inspiration from a famous painting by artists such as Rembrandt, Hals and Vermeer.
The Dutch Masters bottle contain 120mL of ink, which is double the size of the regular bottle. The P.W. Akkerman ink bottle is very unique as it fills by tipping the bottle upside down so that ink flows from the large bottom section, into a small upper section. When you tip the bottle back up, a small marble rests in the neck of the bottle to create a reservoir, making it easy to fill the fountain pen.
